The Programmable Raised Keyboard

The ER-925 keyboard is designed for retail applications. Raised keys make entering sales faster and more accurate than other types of keyboards. The raised keyboard works well in conjunction with a bar code scanner. If you plan on using bar code scanning, this register can support up to 22,000 PLUs.

The Single Station Thermal Printer

Fast, quiet thermal printing makes this machine highly durable. Drop-in loading makes changing paper easy and fast. The ER-925 uses 2.25" thermal paper, the most common size available on the market.

Includes Standard RS-232 Communication

With the serial ports on the ER-925, you can connect to various peripherals such as kitchen printers, computers, text overlay for DVR, and more. The most common connection is a Datacap Twin Tran credit card interface, making payments seamless and reducing errors. With the Datacap, this register can also accept gift cards.

If you will be using a bar code scanner, you may find it useful to connect the register to a PC to simplify UPC management.

Unlike old-school cash registers, the ER-925 has a single printer for receipts but includes an electronic journal (EJ) for your audit trail. The EJ replaces the traditional printed audit tape and can be printed on demand when needed.

If you require both a receipt and journal printer, consider the ER-945 model, which is identical to the ER-925 but features two tape printers.
